Android apps for problems I had myself.

Every app here started as a small frustration, at the gate or in the gym, and grew into the app I wished already existed. Beautiful, simple, and made with care.

The apps

Three apps, three problems I wanted solved properly. No accounts to create, and a lot of care in the details.

Flight Pass

Boarding pass wallet · Travel
The problem

Every airline wanted me to install its own app. Without them, I was digging through my downloads for the right PDF, then zooming in on the QR code and turning the brightness up at the gate. Every single flight.

Scan any pass into one wallet. At the airport, a notification brings your gate, terminal and seat, opens a bright full-size QR code in one tap, and even shows the weather at your destination.

CrossFit Timer

WOD timer · Fitness · Wear OS
The problem

The timer apps I tried had confusing screens, took too long to set up and were never as flexible as my workouts. Their digits were too small to read from across the room, and they would not work in the background when I switched to another app.

For Time, AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata and your own custom sequences, with huge high-contrast digits on phone, tablet and watch.

Heart Rate Monitor

Live HR zones · Bluetooth sensors
The problem

My chest strap's own app was really bad. I wanted a richer, more beautiful one that also worked with my other sensors, and with my watch from another brand.

Connect any standard Bluetooth chest strap, armband or watch and see your zone second by second, then look back at every workout.

Behind the studio

One developer, all the love.

Studio Bridoux AB is just me, Nicolas, a French Android engineer living in Stockholm. Every app is designed, built and looked after by one person.

I love building on a platform that billions of people, me included, use every day, and I try to pay attention to the details: polished screens, smooth animations, and apps that go easy on your battery. Outside of work I travel and train a lot, which is exactly where these apps come from.
